FIDGARD

QuickBooks Online integration

Trust accounting controls connected to your general ledger

FIDGARD adds client and matter ledgers, available-funds checks, approvals, audit trails, and three-way reconciliation. QuickBooks Online remains your general ledger.

What the integration does

  • Reads company and account information needed to map and verify your connection.
  • Posts accounting records created in FIDGARD to the QuickBooks accounts you select.
  • Keeps matter-level trust records and reconciliation controls in FIDGARD.

Signing out of FIDGARD does not disconnect QuickBooks. The connection remains available to authorized firm users until an administrator disconnects it or Intuit ends the authorization.

Disconnect or reconnect QuickBooks

To disconnect, sign in to FIDGARD, open the QuickBooks integration page, and choose Disconnect. FIDGARD asks Intuit to revoke the current authorization before removing the local connection. After Intuit confirms revocation, the saved authorization tokens are invalidated and future QuickBooks reads and posts stop.

Disconnecting does not delete entries already posted to QuickBooks. To restore the integration, return to the QuickBooks page, choose Connect to QuickBooks, and authorize the company again. If revocation cannot be confirmed, FIDGARD keeps the connection record so an administrator can safely retry instead of reporting a disconnect that may not have occurred.

Connect your firm

You need a FIDGARD account, a QuickBooks Online company, and permission to authorize apps for that company.
